Possible Reactions to Detoxification

Some remedies will stimulate the cells to release toxic residue. Once this has begun, the blood circulation will act to transport the free toxins to the filtering and excretory organs. This process as well as the actual elimination of the toxins through the body may cause what is known as elimination reactions.

The remedies should be adjusted to the individual patient’s sensitivity to avoid any unpleasant detox reactions. Although the reactions are unavoidable, knowledge of their occurrence and how to deal with them will help the patient to keep the process under his/her control.

These may include mild discomforts such as:

Toxins in Lymphatic System:
Fatigue	Headache
Increased need for Sleep	Lack of Concentration
Nausea

 

Toxins in Liver, Kidneys, Colon and Lungs:
Hypoglycemia	Insomnia
Bad Breath	Skin Rashes and Eruptions

Once toxins are filtered out of the circulation through the excretory organs, the body will select the most convenient route of excretion available to it. These may include channels such as:
Mucous Membranes	Nose (runny)
Eyes (watery)	Urine (bad odor and dark)
Runny Stool	Skin (sweet, bad odor)

Mild discomfort may be a sign that the toxins are being released. This is NOT a side effect but the effect of the body’s own elimination process.

After elimination is complete the patient may experience:
